Our take
Doppel is a strong pick for an enterprise whose brand and staff are targets for impersonation, fake domains, and deepfake calls, and that wants takedowns and employee simulations from one vendor. It serves more than 300 organizations and reached a valuation above $600 million in 2025, though its prices are quoted.

Who uses Doppel and what it's for
Doppel is built for security, fraud, and brand teams at enterprises whose names are used in scams on social media, fake domains, paid ads, messaging apps, and the dark web.1 It says it has more than 300 customers and added a record number of enterprise customers in the second quarter of 2026.2 Fortune reported that it serves dozens of Fortune 500 companies, and Doppel's site features ARK Invest, REA Group, and the San Francisco 49ers.31
Its best uses are detecting and taking down impersonation, protecting executives from doxxing and deepfakes, and running simulations that test how employees respond to AI-driven attacks.1 Daniel Pyykonen, head of platform security at Notion, says on its homepage: I used to be stressed about all of the looming threats to our platform, but now because of Doppel, I'm just a chill guy.
1 Its competitors include Adaptive Security and Living Security for simulations and digital risk vendors such as Bolster and ZeroFox.3
Takedowns, Simulation, and Email Security
Doppel's Digital Risk Protection detects external threats across social media, domains, and other channels and works to dismantle the attacker infrastructure behind them.1 Executive protection monitors leaders' personal data exposure and threats against them.1 Doppel Simulation runs realistic social engineering scenarios and awareness training, and Tian told Fortune that it can build a campaign from a prompt that hits you specifically on your phone, maybe shoots off an SMS right after that phone call.

In July 2026 Doppel launched Doppel Email Security and an AI managed service for human risk management.2 Its ARK Invest case study reports scam takedown times cut from weeks to minutes and impersonation volume down 50% year over year.1
Pricing Is Quoted
Doppel does not publish prices. A buyer requests a demo, and the cost depends on the brands, executives, and employees covered and the modules chosen.1
Two Uber Engineers and a Fast Series C
Kevin Tian and Rahul Madduluri met at Uber in 2016 and founded Doppel in 2022, first to help crypto companies fight impersonation, before widening to enterprises.3 Tian later worked at Lyft as a staff engineer and engineering manager.4
Doppel raised a $70 million Series C in November 2025, about six months after its Series B, led by Bessemer Venture Partners with CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz and NTT DOCOMO Ventures, bringing total funding to $124 million at a valuation above $600 million.5 In September 2026 MUFG Innovation Partners, the venture arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, became a strategic investor for an undisclosed amount, and Doppel opened hubs in Toronto and Austin.2
How it compares with Adaptive Security and Living Security
Adaptive Security focuses on deepfake and AI social engineering simulations and training. Living Security scores each employee's risk and aims training at the riskiest. Doppel combines simulations with external takedowns and email security, so it covers both the attacker's infrastructure and the employee who receives the attack.1
A company that only needs awareness training has simpler options. One that is also fighting fake domains and impersonation accounts is the buyer Doppel is built for.
Where Doppel falls short
Doppel publishes no prices, so a buyer cannot compare costs before a sales process. Its email security product launched in July 2026 and has a short track record.2
The company is growing quickly across several product lines at once, from takedowns to training to email, and much of the public evidence of results comes from its own case studies.1

Buyer sentiment
- “Fake domains using our name now come down in hours, where it used to take us weeks of emails.”
- “The voice and text simulations felt like a real attack, and our help desk changed how it verifies callers.”
- “There is no price list, and the quote depended on how many brands and executives we wanted covered.”
- “It does a lot of things, and we needed time to figure out which modules we needed.”
