Aikido Security
Aikido Security scans the code, open-source dependencies, containers and cloud accounts a software team already uses, hides the findings that cannot be reached or exploited, and opens fixes as pull requests, all from one product a developer can set up without a sales call.

Our take
Aikido is the easiest way for a software company without a large security team to cover its code, dependencies and cloud accounts, and its published prices make the cost clear before anyone talks to sales. Teams that also need to scan office networks and on-premises servers will still need an infrastructure scanner.

Code, cloud and runtime in one tool
Aikido combines open-source dependency scanning, checks for malware in the software supply chain, static code analysis, secrets detection, license tracking, cloud misconfiguration checks, container and virtual machine scanning, dynamic testing of running web apps and in-app runtime protection.1 It analyzes whether a vulnerability can be reached in a customer's code and exploited in its environment, and hides the ones that can't.5 It has also added AI penetration testing, which sends many automated agents to look for vulnerabilities, confirm whether they can be exploited and retest fixes.25
Published prices
Aikido lists its prices on its website. The Developer plan is free for two users. Basic costs $350 a month, Pro $700 a month and Advanced $1,050 a month, each including 10 users, with higher limits on repositories, container images, domains and cloud accounts at each step.1 Startups can get up to 30% off, subject to conditions.1 One reviewer below found the paid plans expensive for an individual developer.
Fast growth from Ghent
Aikido was founded in 2022 and is based in Ghent, Belgium.34 In January 2026 it raised a $60 million Series B at a $1 billion valuation, led by DST Global with PSG Equity, Singular and Notion Capital.2 It said revenue had grown five times over the previous year, that its customer base had more than tripled and that more than 100,000 teams used it, including Deel, SoundCloud, Niantic and Revolut.2 Its company page puts total funding at $85 million and headcount above 350.4
How it compares with Intruder
Intruder scans a company's internet-facing servers and websites from the outside. Aikido starts from the inside, connecting to code repositories and cloud accounts. A software company with a public web app may want both: Aikido for the code and cloud configuration, an external scanner for what attackers see on the internet.
Limits for larger estates
Aikido is built around software development. It does not replace a scanner for laptops, office networks or on-premises servers. Reviewers report slow first scans on very large repositories and some false positives that still get through its automatic triage.

What customers say
Quoted word for word from public reviews on PeerSpot and TrustRadius, retrieved October 22, 2026. Each quote links to the review or post it comes from.
Where it helps
I just had to run a template in my AWS account and give it access to GitHub; with those two steps, 80% of the implementation was already done.
By avoiding an overload of false positive vulnerability reports, we can focus on resolving the actual positives, instead of wasting time on triage
Where it falls short
For large repositories, initial scans can be slow. Incremental scanning helps, but full scans still take considerable time.
Pricing is quite high for a normal user, and if they can make it a little less, it will be much better.
